A 'little bit' of X6 in motion footage

http://www.pistonheads.tv/clip1392

Only a couple of X6 clips, but there is also some 7 series stuff there to, maybe the hybrid ??

The X6 is shown at:

42 seconds
2:30
3:23

Basically some footage of a manufacturers test day at the Ring a few days ago....many manufacturers use the track at the same time to test their vehicles, and there is apparently an unsaid rule, that no manufacturer takes any specific interest or photos of what any other one is testing....

For anyone that has never been around there, this place is driving Nirvana itself....

Especially in a GT3RS

I'm kinda bummed about the new BMW styling trend. It's been said before, and I'll say it again. They look like f*cking PONTIACS!!
The new E92s look like Pontiac Grand Prixs, and now the X6 is taking some styling tips from the hideous Pontiac Aztec with that downward sloping rear deck!!! I will go easy on the new M3 because they didn't completely whimp out on the aggresive lines.

pontiac has had a split grille for a very long time... it's not a new thing. The first split grille on a Pontiac was in 1932, but it became more prominent in '39.

Grills aside... the new BMWs still look too much like Pontiacs for my liking.

Kind of like the people who think Nissan using "Z" for the 350Z is a rip of the Z4......

Problem is when you stand out, people will copy you and eventually everything begins to look the same. Look at Honda & Toyota, they might as well become the same company.
