That is sad because I am planning on ordering one in Q1 2009. It vexes me to know that I will be paying almost $3k+ for my X6.

BTW I am one of the few that prefer the X6 to an M3 due to practical reasons. I had my mind made on the smaller vehicle but had to make the switch.

Exactly the reason the X6 exists.....everyone cannot fit their day to day lives into an M3.Still get the fun part (.90g's) on the skidpad and room to put your stuff.Great choice! Thanks! PalBay

The price difference between the X5 and X6 seems unwarranted........ but hey... if bmw can get that kind of money out of peoples pockets for the X6 then more power to them.
