X6 "M" Possibly?

Hey guys I don't want to stir up anything.....But take a look at this pic I took last wk.I was culling shots out of my files and noticed this pic.Unless my old eyes are playing tricks on me,does that not look like an "M" emblem on the side of that X6???? I know the standard X6 has not even hit the street but I guess you got to be months ahead on prototype development.I reviewed the pic's I took that day.One Tasman had the normal appearing XDrive badging, but the other Tasman had whatever is showing on this pic.I will pay much closer attention to detail going forward.Thanks. PalBay

Thanks. No I'm really not a BMW plant.I travel all over the SE w/ my job.I'm constantly coming and going, back and forth into town.It affords me sometimes 45 mins to an hour at the end of a trip to poke around the plant and see what I can see.Its a numbers game mixed w/ pure blind luck. The more times you can get by the BMW complex the more chances you have to see something interesting. The blind luck part is that what you would want to see, happens to be out on the day you can look around!!!??? I'm just a big Bimmer fan.Thanks. PalBay

Unless BMW has moved to putting trunk emblems on the fender...no.

Is this the X6 you posted video of? why would they put logos on a test mule? They always tape the logos even if present.

Yep from the videos.I asked myself the same question.I will say that I've seen a couple of Tasman X6's going between the Special Vehicle Op's Bld and that Training and Development Center.I did not pay that much attention because I thought they were diesel.I dunno.... I'll pay more atten in the future. And then the "M" logo's could be used to fake us out on something else... The exhaust note of either Tasman sure did not sound like a V-10 or whatever is rumored to go in an X6M.The mystery continues....Thanks. PalBay

this pic is from another thread, but doesn't the side badging look similar?

http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/attac...1&d=1205272797

the one that the buschy took of the X6 looks like it says TT on the side, which if italicized, might look like the striping of the M badge
