X6 Press Launch Pic's-BMW Performance Center

I couldn't help myself..... had to ck out the Press Launch for the X6 and I believe the new 1 Series.I actually got there pretty late.As you can see,BMW looks to have had a real throwdown. The big white tents cover the entire PC parking lot. There were a lot of X6's sitting around. All I saw were 35i's and the only colors I saw were Tasman and VR.There might have been one Black X6 mixed in the group.I'm going to do this in a couple of threads.I took over 150 pic's.I obviously won't post all the pic's.I was able to spend about an hour really checking out one of the VR 35i's.I took some pic's (inside and outside) and tried to address some concerns people have mentioned on this forum,ie rear visibility, running boards, etc.I'll give you my 2 cents worth on my hour ck'ing out this X6.These X6's were sitting in what is usually part of the PC's Driving School area.No one was around, I'll ck this X6 out w/o a salesperson hovering.Keys were on the dash......Lets Then I came to my senses. Thanks.PalBay

It looks like BMW spared no expense.I wanted to get there early AM and see what was happening on the track.Just could not break away from work, been real busy. This was at lunch time and I think it was pretty much over by then.I was just reading the reviews of some (not all) of the folks who drove the X6 today.Basically, the same drivel you seem to hear about the X6.Good performer for what it is......but why do we need a Sports Activity Coupe?? The age old sports car bias. I'm real interested to see how opinions start falling once Car Mag and Reg Joe's like me start to drive the X6.I guess the ultimate judge will be the annual sales meter. My hour alone w/ the X6 ( WOW..that kidda sounds sick...) only reinforces all the reasons I want one.Thanks. Palbay... This set-up is actually for BMW Training starting on Tuesday the 8th and lasting for a few weeks. I am a Client Advisor at BMW of Nashville (BMW sales guy for the last 8 yrs) and we are heading your way Monday... We will be training on the 1 series, the New M3, and the X6, that's why you see the other makes/ models for competitive comparions. And just curious, but what's happening in Greenville/Spartenburg on Monday nights? If you know of any establishment that would be abundant with Attractive Loose Females please let me know!!

See ya in the 'Burg

JS - you were not in ATL yesterday driving the X6, 1 series, and M3s in Road Atlanta? You were not part of this gaggle? By the way - I took soo, many pictures and even started a car. It was pretty cool! The only complain is the rear view...it totally sucks. I could not believe that there were over 100cars down at the garage at the Hyatt, the 1 series at another place and M3s. I will post more once I get back from my mini-vacation, waiting to board a plane. I had 2GB and ran out, that's how much they let me have my way around the X6s.

No I wasn't there. BMW's training for Sales Mgr's, Sales, Service is in Spartenburg and Los Angeles, so this group in ATL may be the Press as Palbay spoke of. Just a guess! But If you or any one else that reads this, knows of any establishment in or around Greenville/ Spartenburg that would be abundant with Attractive Loose Females and preferably have the NCAA Basketball Game on in High Def, please let me know!!

Thanks for any and all help
