A mere 58 liter tank - will not go far with the twin turbo 4.4 aka 5.0 - this is the one thing that I have a problem with.

She's a beauty!

Cheers,
It has an 85 litre tank, which for me gives up to 650 miles in range, although its been more thirsty in the first few miles so I am getting around 25 imperial mpg, which means more like 470 miles per tank full.

My X5 3.0sd now have 5k on odometer and average consuption is ~11,6 l/100km. That means I can drive aprox. 700 km per tank full. Really X6 is so economical???

Janis, I am getting the equivalent of around 750 km per tank full, but I expect that will increase by a further 100 km or more once the engine is more bedded in. So far my X6 is proving more economical than I had expected.
