BMW X6 or Pontiac Aztec?

Sorry, but Chris Bangle stuck out again! Is it me or does the X6 look like a Pontiac Aztec? You be the judge.

Try negotiating ramps on a Aztec at 80 mph and if you still land on 4 wheels then go buy Aztec.

Lemans X5,
I 100% agree with you on the performance capacities and engineering advancements of the X6 and the rest of the BMW fleet. I drove the X6 and it is a dream to drive, but standing still I need to shake my head in disbelief. It is an observation of the degradation of the styling of the BMW lineup in the last eight years in my humble opinion. I owned an E30 M3, E36 M3, and an E53 X5 4.4i. I am one of the biggest BMW enthusiast you will ever meet, but my love affair with the Roundel is wearing thin. When are going to see a BMW without the enlarged Bangle Butt?

Beauty is in the eye of beholder. I hated the E60 when it came out, but it grew on me "a bit" and I have one now. But I liked the X6 from day 1. Don't like the 4 pass. seating though. BMW increased prices on X6 for 2009 as the dealers are selling them away even in this market.

BMW design direction is towards CS concept and you will see it in the new flagship 8-series. Their are some design elements in new F01 7-series too. The new Z4 is better in looks than the current one IMHO.
