Roof rails
![]() Ask my dealer on possible "removable" roof rails but he told me that the only possible solution was to take the standard "permanent" roof rails ( black or silver ) as no BMW solution was available yet. I think that with the permanent roof rails X6 lost is Coupé style ... and need a decision by tomorrow if I need to update my order before it is too late....This is the case at least in France... Any solutions within US as I am travelling there quite often ? Quick feedback needed. Thanks in advance |

To be honest, the roof rails are messing up the X6's design. I have seen them in Silver on Vermillion Red, and it looks UGLY, honestly... At first I wanted them, but after viewing a few pics, I decided to get skisack (hole between rear seats to put skies in). A ski bow will look even more ugly on the top of X6. And in case I would need to carry a bike, I will buy bike holder for the rear of the car.

Yep, finally agree to not mount roof rails.
Will use magnetic "ski/snow holders" if needed |

Yup, that's also my emergency solution it skisack will not be enough. After all U just need to say that roof rails are also a must on X5, but on X6 they are a NO-GO optional equipment.
I hope that I helped you with the decision. |
