When does inner headlight light up?
My new X6 arrived today

Very pleased with it so far but one question ...

I noticed on dipped beam the outer headlight is in use. On 'high' beam the outer headlight is also only in use.

The fog lights are catered for by the lights underneath the main set of headlights.
So my question is - what is the 'inner' headlight in the main set of two on each side, used for?

There is a bulb in there, but its not is use in any combination I can work out?
