Installing tomorrow carbon fiber adhesive

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share with you that tomorrow I will install an 3M Carbon Fiber adhesive film called branded as "DI-NOC" , does anyone have heard about it ?

They are giving me a 5 year warranty if its installed by a certified 3M installer, I'm just covering the whole roof starting from the roof rails, and thinking on taking off my roof racks in order to give a sleek look to the roof.

Also thinking in covering the center door pillars ....

I found it cheap, $150 U.S, dollars installed !

I will post pictures (if possible tomorrow) night

On the roof, what in the heck for? Seems like a waste of $150 for something some people aren't tall enough to even see. Sobi showed me YouTube videos of guys covering their entire cars in this stuff...makes no sense to me. MrBMWX5 has pics of DI-NOC installed on all of his interior wood trim, links to where he bought the stuff, etc.

So am I, but most people aren't. I don't have a problem w/ it, I just don't see the point...eventually it's going to peel, then you've probably ruined a perfectly good paintjob or you'll have to redo the CF wrap all over again. Then again, only doing the roof as opposed to the whole car isn't bad. There's a member on here who painted his roof black, looked unique.

Here some "better" pictures of my new carbon-like roof look, the actual look is darker and more matt but it was a very sunny day, so I got too much reflex from the sun, next week I will post same pictures with my new set of style 214 wheels.

You are right when you say about peeling off, but the 3M installer gave me a 3 year warranty against peeling and a 5 year warranty against product defects.

Check the following pic my Audi A6 that I painted glossy black

Love it, IMO the next move is getting some 20 or 21 inch wheels. it'll make the world of difference
