How do I remove the driver's side A-pillar?

I can't seem to get it to pop off. I have pulled somewhat hard btu it seems to be really fastened where the plastic SRS Airbag piece is located. I thought it would just be fastened with plastic clips like the rest of the trim pieces in the car but it is not coming off easily and I do not want to force it since it is in the area of the airbag which also makes me a little nervous.

I figured it out. There is a torx bolt under the SRS Airbag piece.

I am installing an Escort 9500ci Laser jammer and radar detection unit. I have now mounted everything but am having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to get the wire from the rear laser deflector from rear hatch area to the inside of the vehicle. I thought I could simply feed the wire through the existing rubber grommet that the rear light wires are fed through and then access them by pulling back the headliner but it is not working the way I had hoped and I am hoping that I can figure it out in the morning but so far I have spent over 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do this with no success.

Any ideas?
