How long Angel Eye bulbs must last ?

I'm still surprised that my angel eye bulbs burned in just 17 months, I use the daylight driving lights feature all the time, but still feel's like they burned too early, those bulbs in my opinion must last years of use, not 17 months ..... the scan the car and there is nothing wrong, the left one burned 5 weeks before the right one !

I would like to hear if any of you had the same experience ?

Thanks,
Bernie

When I purchased my 88 Mazda Convertible, the left headlamp burned out in 1 week. A month later the right went out. I thought... OMG, I am going to be in trouble with this car. Since then I have changed four or five OF ALL the bulbs in the ensuing 22 years.

You never know what you are going to get.

Check on your BMW dealer, I saw the new 5 Series and 5 Series GT with factory white angel eyes, that means that BMW must have the new bulbs which I asume they are the same H8's a for the X6
