GROUP BUY ON TIRES: VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SUV SESSANTA - NOW EXTENDED

Due to the late surge of interest in the Vredestein Tire Group Buy, I have received authorization to extend it for another 2 weeks at the incredible price of $765 for a set of staggered 19" or 20" tires. If you are interested please let me know as soon as possible.

directional tire question for dumbies

hey y'all,

I just ordered my new tires today, thanks Mike for putting this awesome deal together. I have a question though that has troubled me since I have been swapping my Diamaris on my 4.6 with winter 18"s.

If you look at the original post on the Vredestein group deal, there is a youtube video and several pictures of the Vredestein. Can anyone please answer my question about directional tires? I had always thought that directional meant there was a left and right tread. But I have learned this is not so. On one side the water is directed to the outside groove going from front to back on the right side and then back to front on the left. The tires themselves are exactly the same. It appears that there is a definitive inside and definitive outside but can anyone explain this absurdity to me? Thanks.
