2010 X6, 5.0 with new 215's with pics

Let me know what you think about this look. I am considering adding spacers, like 12mm front and 20mm rear for my X6. Any thoughts or suggestions. Also, same for my wife's new 2011 3.5 with M Package including 20's. I am thinking about 15mm front and 25mm rear. Both are fully loaded except for HUD. Thanks

Put the spacers on, you will not regret it. It will give the X6 a nice stance. Nice white X5 too.

Can you tell me where to get spacers for the X6? Does it effect the ride any? Any safety issues? Thanks in advance.

I haven't been able to find a vendor who can deliver an entire package of spacers and bolts with any degree of confidence for the 2010 X6. I called on well know tuner vendor who seemed confused about hub size and told me the X6 had the same size. My dealer said they are different. Another well known company has the hub sizes correct but doesn't offer the extended bolts. For now I have decided to pass until better info is available. I'll check again next spring. I have had the same issues trying to find spacers for my 2011 X5. Frustrating but I guess not many owners have done this yet. Let me know if you find out something on your end. Thanks

I've been able to find some through my research. Hamann makes many spacers for the X6. 5mm-40mm kits. It's on their product list on their website. H&R also makes many spacer sizes for the X6 and X5. All links I've found is listed below. Anyways, hope this helps.

Thumbs up Your X6 215's

Hi,
Love your X6 with 215's. I have a '11 X5M with 20"wheels similar to your wifes.
Gary at Ameritrade (great guy) told me you had some 214 20's. It's hard looking through pics vs. in person. Do you feel this was a huge upgrade and was it worth it? And does it drive differently? I'm thinking about buying the 215's for my M.
Thoughts? Thanks, Sean

Thanks Sean. It's all personal taste but I love mine, it was an amazing upgrade and set the look exactly the way I wanted it- worth every penny. I would highly recommend them for your X5M, you will love them and the improved look. The ride is much smoother and handling was better too. I am putting my 20's back on in a few weeks for winter. I get compliments all the time on mine. I am considering a black pair of 215's for my wife's White X5 next spring. Hope that helps. Gary was very helpful in helping me with my decision.
