Not to my knowledge. It isn't just seats and their supports, there is also the issue of seatbelts and anchor points.

Well if BMW make it as an option on the new cars I am sure that someone has done it already, surely it could not be so difficult!!!

I don't believe it is an option on the new cars yet. BMW announced that they would make a five seat version, starting in April. However, the hybrid is specifically not included in that option. That suggests to me that the hybrid has something mounted underneath that interferes with the centre seat.
