Turn Signal Stalk

So it's been 4 years since my Ducati didn't fare so well against a Lexus that decided to pull a U-turn Anyway I've avulsed the nerve that controls my left arm, unable to use it. So no more bikes and I'm waiting on my new 2012 X6 to come in and have a question regarding turn signal stalks at the steering wheel.

I understand in LEFT side of the road drive countries (UK, Japan, Australia) that the turn signals are mounted on the right hand side of the steering wheel. Does anyone know if it's possible to get and install right hand turn stalk in an American X6?

I've seen various breakdowns of the steering wheel but am not aware of any such conversions or even somehow rigging the steering wheel buttons to control the turn signals.

Thanks

Do you mean Right-side of the road? In UK, Japan, parts of Asia and Australasia we drive on the Left-side of the road.

The indicator stalk on the X6 is on the left side in Europe too. Almost all cars sold in Europe are that way around. There were some Japanese models a few years ago that had them swapped over, but convention is left side for indicators, right side for wipers.

Not sure anything other than a special conversion for disabled drivers with additional buttons on the wheel is possible.

Yes I did mean left side of the road / right hand drive.

Thanks for the reply

I saw an Australian Miata forum that said the turn stalks were on the right side of steering wheel. Anyway I assumed that it would be that way as well in LEFT side of the road countries to accommodate someone shifting (left hand) and then needing to change lanes (right hand).

I also noted pics of a steering wheel on eBay that had a picture of the backside. All four stalks had their own relay/control housing.
Guess I could try to futz with the relays and make the wiper stalk into the turn signal. Just thought and hoped that the controls were mirrored and it may be as easy as switching out a stalk.
