SOLD! Brembo Big Brake Kit Front & Rear for E53, 8pot 380mm / 4pot 345mm

I'm selling a complete front and rear Brembo big brake setup from my E53 X5. They were on the car for 7 years and about 40k miles and removed when I sold the car recently. They're in perfect mechanical condition with no leaks and good seals all around. There are some cosmetic flaws in the front from road debris but the rears are in great shape. They currently have Posi-Quiet low dust pads with 50% left and the rotors still have plenty of meat on them. I will also include the original Brembo pads that came with them which also have about 50% life left.

Front: 8-piston 4-pad red calipers with 380mm cross-drilled 2-piece rotors
Manufacturer Part #: 1G1.9002A2
Retails for $4699
Rear: 4-piston 2-pad red calipers with 345mm cross-drilled 2-piece rotors
Manufacturer Part #: 2C1.8006A2
Retails for $3451
Total Retail $8150

Asking Price: SOLD!
Located in Southern California. Will ship at buyers expense

If I weren't going to be recovering from buying a 4.8is (and the maintenance it will surely need) I'd be extremely tempted... With BBK's there is usually a certain level of brake noise to be expected. Did this kit also exhibit a bit of squeeling at times?

Out of curiosity how close to San Jose is Irvine? LOL

@crystalworks I think 6-7 hours Southward depending on route chosen and traffic. :)

The posi-quiet pads I had on there had no noise and very little dust. It did sacrifice brake performance a little but it was still more than adequate. I am also including the original Brembo pads which did dust more and had a little noise. However, the dust and noise still wasn't as bad as the OEM BMW pads.

San Jose is quite far, 6-7 hr drive but it's a common trip for a lot of people so it's not that bad.

I'm from San Antonio, TX. :D

LOL flying in to San Jose to pick up a 4.8is I bought and driving it back home. Adding another 14 hours to my trip does not sound fun. I'll be recovering from the purchase price and the maintenance it's going to need anyway. Was just running through more ways to be financially irresponsible because these are for sale... ;)

I do wish I could get them though. Good luck with the sale.

You would actually pass right though Southern California on your way back to TX so it's no detour at all. :)

If one of the other BMW's I have for sale had sold... I would have picked them up. Had a lot of interest but unfortunately no one has come up with the cash yet. :dunno:

Still interested... but still have both my e30's for sale. ;) GLWS

Wheel Size

What is the smallest BMW OEM wheel that will fit over these? My winter wheels are 17" and guessing they will no longer work???

They cleared my stock 19" Style 63 wheels with no spacers but I don't think you can fit any smaller than that.
