06/2006 BMW X5 6MT FOR SALE
6 Attachment(s)
Hi guys, I had mentioned it here and there but would like to make it in to official tread. Se here it goes - For sale my X5 2006 with 6 speed manual. As many of you know - I bought another one with automatic and Salvage title and regret it but now I can's sell it till I pass Inspection and get a "Rebuilt" title. Besides anything else - I just can't have 3 cars, not in NYC. Back to 2006 one - It is a one owner (besides me for last 6 or so month) vehicle out of North Carolina, being a southern car it has no rust. 125K miles and very clean.
One of the pictures has label with VIN - you may use any VIN decoder to see complete list of standard equipment/options but here some of them: Exterior: Stratus Gray. Interior: Light Gray Sports Package with heated seats. Parking Distance Sensors Front/Back Rain Sensor Panoramic Roof Navigation System (obviously with few dead pixels) Aluminum Running Boards What was done so far: -All Power Steering Lines Replaced -Every Piece to do with Clutch replaced - Rear Crank Shaft Seal, Dual Mass FlyWheel, Clutch Kit, Fork, Pivot Pin, Slave Cylinder, limiter-valve removed, etc - everything I touched in there - was replaced. -UUC Short Throw Kit Installed along with every bushing and rubber piece to do with shifter that could possibly be warned out. -Spark Plugs -Flex Disks front and back -New Fluids in Both Differentials, GearBox, Transfer Case. -New DISA Valve OEM -New Air Filter -New Fuel Filter -New Set of Tires (about 3K on them now) -Window Clips in Driver's door Most parts were sourced from FCP EURO and I have receipts and old parts to prove. I can provide a CarFax report to those who is interested so you don't have to shell out $40 (or whatever) Now, the things it will need: -Valve Cover Gasket started to leak (shocker!) in the back - which is surprising in a sense that person who sold the X to me said that it was done recently (gee, car sales man being dishonest - another shocker!) -It throws Fuel Lean Codes, most likely AirFlow meter or PCV valve could be the problem but I can't say for sure yet. -Driver's side Adaptive Light Controller took a dump due to moisture in it - it is CORRODED with all letters in caps - which will be solved soon. So far - that's it. Oh, not yet - Left passenger side door dented near molding and there are key mark on both sides - they may be buffed out to near invisible but I was not not planning on making it in to showroom car so I did not bother.... -Few little dings/blemishes may be found but nothing abnormal for a 9 year old vehicle. Price $14,000 or reasonable offer. |
Add:
New Valve Cover Gasket. New PCV Valve Kit (What a complete failure of a design and gigantic pita to replace) Trottle Body Gasket. Intake Boot Elbow. |
RB's offer to swap running boards in 3...2...1... :nanana: ;)
