This will convert the CD Changer wiring to an AUX-input for Digital DSP-equipped vehicles.

So the goal of the box is to create a AUX-input or to upgrade CD changer wiring to head unit?

It's actually considered a downgrade, since CD Changer control is lost. You are switching this interface to an audio-in only feed (like a headphone jack).

This willl however get whatever audio feed you are looking for into your BMW system.

This thing has to go. First one with $100 bucks gets it... shipped.
