RARE Alpina 20" wheels
 

After posting that I was able to secure this particular set of wheels, I had quite a bit of interest in someone else bringing them back to their proper glory! I ended up putting them up on eBay in order to maximize the audience for them. However, I would most prefer to sell them to a forum member, so don't be afraid to make an offer to me through here. The only other match to these wheels (refurbished) is $850 apiece, so I don't think my asking price is too off base. Thanks for looking and I am quickly realizing that there is no good reason to hoard 3 or 4 sets of wheels for one vehicle! Ha.

Thanks for the feedback. Interesting that everybody drives the exact same car because everyone’s tastes are exactly the same. I think these wheels look awesome on an e53, but the right owner might want to customize their restoration. As for the other auction, perhaps you lost a few fingers trolling the classified section so hard that you are unable to count all the way up to FOUR - the auction clearly states that it is a brand new set of FOUR wheels for $1400. I personally like those wheels in silver. Think you're going to sit on them for a long time though. They are rare, but not desirable to most. Good luck with the sale.

Edit: Just saw the mufflers. Clean those tips up for that asking price. That's the only visible part of the system. I hope you get everything you can out of them, but I had a chance to buy a local set for a third of your asking. Was going to flip them like you are but figured they'd be a hard sell.
