SOLD 2001 e53 X5 for sale, 5sp Manual (Benny)
 

I've got two of these that are going up for sale, I'll post them separately but I didn't want anyone to get confused. The first is names Benny and is a 2001 X5 silver with dove grey sport interior with 235,000 miles. This has been a daily driver and maintained with an open checkbook. If it needed done, I didn't bat an eye. It also helps that one of my best friends is a BMW mechanic, PRICE DROPPED TO SOLD

Highlights:
- Xenon headlights
- GROM hands free bluetooth phone integration, allows connection with steering wheel controls with stock radio
- Performance rotors and ceramic pads (cross drilled and slotted)
- 2 keys, original window sticker, lots of maintenance records
- Entire cooling system replaced including radiator, hoses, water pump...
- DSP sound system and sounds great
- Heated sport seats
- New air ride suspension for the rear
- Continental Tires
- Synthetic oil every 3,000 miles
- 5sp Manual, Royal Purple fluid, new shifter bushings
- Most suspension rubber replaced (if anything cracks, I replace it)

Lowlights:
- There's a minor dent on passenger front door and driver's rear door
- Pass window clip needs replaced (don't roll down all the way)
- Steering joint starting to bind slightly (needs a junkyard replacement)

Just a quick followup on this, after having taken a look at it and driven it this week.

Robert had two X5's for sale, now one after I bought the other, but I looked at and drove both :)

"Benny" will make someone a fantastic vehicle. If I had not known the milage going in, I would have been hard pressed to guess that this had over 200K miles. Drives VERY smoothly, air suspension has been overhauled and feels exactly the way BMW intended. Interior is *CLEAN*. It is pretty obvious that Robert takes incredible care of his vehicles. I've been looking for a good X5 for a little while and the interior was easily nicer than cars I've looked at with less than 1/2 the miles. With the BT module for the stereo, the overhauled cooling and suspension, this is a *great* condition X5. I promise it looks as good or better than the pictures Robert posted, you won't be disappointed.
