I was never aware that there was a difference in screen angle with effects brightness and clarity when dealing with an X5 versus an M5. I even posted a new thread about this on the M5Board to see what others have to say.

Well, there is a difference - although people on eBAy are selling these as the same for E39 and X5 - they are different - for the contrast angle of the monitor itself varies - in the X5 the same unit sits higher up with a different viewing angle. You can get different front monitor panels to replace for them also.

Just as indication the parts number for each of them are:

X5 : 65 52 6 934 413
E39 : 65 52 6 913 387

Just for clarification here, I currently have a 4:3 screen I'm trying to update to a 16:9 so I have nothing to offer and only a need to buy.

If Jeff wants to sell me his which is really for an M5, I'll consider buying his, and WhizsKid11 can sell his X5 screen to Jeff and that should be it.

From what I understand WhizzKid you have a 2nd unit already which is for the correct M5 fitment and want to sell the X5 unit you have.
