FREE! Profile 2000 Base With Ski Holders
 

I've got a Profile 2000 roof rack base with ski holders I don't want anymore (see avatar). Problem is, it uses coded security bolts and I don't have the wrench or the card that has the code for the wrench pattern. I struggled for almost a year with the dealer (they gave me wrenches from inventory to try to no avail) and escalated the problem with BMW NA, who of course are no help whatsoever. I finally removed the roof rack using fine needle nose pliers.

If you'd like to have this roof rack and can deal with the challenge, you can have mine for free. They're just taking up space in my garage. The only cost to you would be actual shipping charges. If you're in the Washington, DC, metro area you can come by and pick them up.
