I know the exhaust will bolt right on but I'm wondering if the stock rear valance will accept those tips.

I can't speak for others, but I'm deciding whether I want 4.8 tips on my car. Some people love 'em, but I kind of like the quad exhaust look.

I thought alot of stuff would sell fast on this site!
it will go..maybe for less though.

SNIFFLES 06-16-2006 05:22 PM

why sell for less it is new in box and there is a 2months wait when you order directly and cost more ?

I will keep it for sure if I dont get my price.

E61Silver 06-16-2006 05:50 PM

What made you decide to sell it?

BruinMan 06-16-2006 06:34 PM

No true savings.

Not much savings ($100); I think you are stuck with it.
I would rather deal with the factory (warranty issues), then save $100. You maybe honest, be we don't know that.
Plus you need to wait for others to pass through. You seem think this is a store front. Sale in a day?

jst2878 06-16-2006 08:46 PM

I don't think that exhaust will fit on a 2001 x5. both pipes should meet up on the passengers side of the vehicle under the front seat. This exhaut will fit 2003 and up, I believe.

SNIFFLES 06-16-2006 10:54 PM

sale pending...thnx all

Well thats is your opinion and you are of course entitled to it. There is a 2+ month wait on this so it is definitly for someone who want's it now, that's all not trying to rip anyone off but this is just a brand new product sitting in the original box and I do not plan on sticking with the X5 too long so it is a waste now to modify it more. ANyway sale is pending but I am still accepting emails until money is exchanged.
All the Best
DJ

Bump.
That is a good deal, I think.
Good luck w/ the sale, (if I had the $$ I would take it)

SNIFFLES 06-18-2006 07:25 PM

Thnx NOC should know if the sale is definite tomorrow

vinuneuro 06-18-2006 08:40 PM

IMO, this is the best sounding exhaust available for the X5. Considering it's brand new and the wait, not a bad price..

SNIFFLES 06-19-2006 02:53 PM

Well the buyer hasn't returned my emails as prmosied by monday so this is still available......PM me for pricing

DrewX5 06-19-2006 10:27 PM

What version exhaust is this...race or the regular type?

SNIFFLES 06-19-2006 11:47 PM

How come you're not sticking with the X5??? If I may ask, didn't you just get it?? Did you have any problems with it??? Good luck with the sale by the way!!!!

Xtacy 06-20-2006 04:45 AM

Sniffles....
IMO this is the best sounding exhaust on the X5...I have them..And the deal is good....Sniffles and I spoke about this prior to him buying them so I know the deal is legit......

Xtacy 06-20-2006 04:46 AM

Oh and installation is simple......1hr at a muffler shop...simple bolt on and no welding needed.....

SNIFFLES 06-20-2006 10:47 AM

Fulanito I am most likely upgradng the porsche to the 997TT so I would rather spend the xtra money on that and go back to a jeep for a daily driver since I am not in love with the X

xxx 06-20-2006 11:07 AM

Is this the race or sport version of the product. Would it fit a 03 4.6 and do i need to do any other mods like eng. software?

I can do 1600.00 pm me if you are interested

jst2878 06-20-2006 05:46 PM

Type o. 1300 was my offer.

SNIFFLES 06-20-2006 06:06 PM

no thanks for the low ball offers

ljnlaw 06-20-2006 06:31 PM

Sniff how can you even mention the 997TT and Jeep in the same sentence. One is at the pinnacle of the sports car food chain the other is the worst SUV ever made?

SNIFFLES 06-20-2006 06:46 PM

Well I had the 06 GC ltd with a hemi and the 996TT at the same time.
The only way I can afford (well be reasonable at least) to upgrade to the 997TT is if I downgrade the x5 back to a GC.

ljnlaw 06-20-2006 07:00 PM

Fair enough

Dark BMW 06-21-2006 12:05 PM

the new jeeps look much better than even 2-3 years ago,
good luck with sale

SNIFFLES 06-21-2006 01:34 PM

SOLD, thnx all
