2003 X5 3.0 CPO Blk/Blk For Sale

Hi all,

I have a 2003 X5 3.0 black on black leatherette. CPO with 55,900 miles. In service date April 2003. CPO last until April 2009 or 100,000 Miles. Cared for by professionals (doctor and lawyer), BMWCCA member and BMW fanatic. Leatherette interior is like it was new (that's the great thing) No cracked side bolsters. No cracked anything. Engine/transmission is smooth as butter. All service done at dealership, including 7500 interval oil changes. Just had new brakes/rotors and CV boots.

No Accidents or anything at all. Never a problem other than normal service.

Other options are Auto and Xenons and lights from sport package. Nearly new tires (Approximately 10,000 miles). BMW X5 Tow Package.

This X5 is located in Orlando Florida. Love this truck, but family is getting larger and need something with more seats.

Asking $25,000.

I was speaking to a good friend of mine who is a automotive wholesaler in Pennsylvania and he gave me some information that you might want to consider.

Apparently any X5 with a build date of 01/03 or newer is a reasonably hot commodity on the East Coast right now due to a huge demand for them to be exported to Russia.. apparently the Russians love them, especially in a black on black color combo like yours. It might be good for you to consider posting the build date (found on the driver's front door jamb) of yours in the post and also consider widening your audience to Autotrader.com and Cars.com with that information in the ad listing.

He told me that my vehicle that I have listed for $26,900 and a build date of 02/2003 would probably do mid $24k on the block at Manheim; then add the buyers fees to the auction and to the buyer... so keep that in mind when you market your vehicle that there is a strong secondary market considering the color combo of your vehicle.

*Edited* I did see that yours would fall within that desirable date of manufacture so... good deal! Good luck in your sale.

you can check the number of imported from USA X5 on www.cars.auto.ru, also you can see the prices for them in Russia (about 10K customs fee and delievery and US dealer fee for 3.0 + interest of russian delaler, 14K for 4.4) The car have to be 3-7 years old, if newer + 48% to MSRP. My friend already ordered 07 4.8 full package expept 3rd seats. It will cost him 120K. Arrival to Russia 10 January.
Above mentioned car have a good colour choice for Russia, however it have manual conditioner and no heated seats (it is quite cold in the main areas in winter).
Yes it's better to put build date, as it is more important here, then model year. You can check it also through the internet http://golgofa.ru/page8.htm?PHPSESSI...2453651255f723 - just input your VIN there.

Yep, as you can see it happens fairly often and there is quite a lucrative market for doing so. ;)
