Gotcha. I'm actually new to this forum, and haven't even received my X5 yet, but mostly where do you go for parts and wheels? Thanks in advance!

Brit6 09-19-2008 06:51 PM

All from morristown bmw in New Jersey, a forum sponser, and rarely ebay.

Interested in the exhaust, but how much is shipping going to run to Chicago?

Brit6 10-15-2009 12:22 PM

My guess is around $60-$100, i can ship it from Ogdensburg, NY it will be cheaper. Let me know i am heading there tomorrow or saturday.

Bump, Mirror Added (Great for parts!)

Yii 10-25-2009 01:24 AM

i have a black 05 x5 and the passenger side mirror housing is scratched, do you think i can swap housings easily? or is there a easier solution? its motored i dunno if that matters about chaning housing and year of the car aswell

Brit6 10-25-2009 11:18 PM

How bad is your scratch? Mine has hairline scratches too. The housings are swappable, it is the same part # for the 01 and 05 x5 on housings.

by hair line do you mean scratches that you can only see through reflection? mine are basically white scratch marks lol... well that basically go through the paint and u can defiantly feel them with out a doubt. i will take a pic to help you get a better picture of what just needs to be replaced.

Brit6 11-07-2009 06:41 PM
