additional modifications?

I really like the look of your rims, but I was wondering what all you needed to mount those (spacers, camber kits, ect...). Furthermore, did you have any issues such as rubbing, changes in performance, speedometer calibration. I have an 06 4.4i.

you wouldn't need anything special! these are mount and go. they are specially made for the X5 "HRE" is a high end wheel manufacture. No rubbing/i had better on road performance with these then my oem's. Not sure about speedometer calibration i never had a problem i'm positive its a non-issue.

Sorry but no shipping to Canada, I would imagine the shipping cost would be high.

Not just the shipping, you also have to deal with Canadian customs which is a big pain in the back. Ask me how I know.

Hi.Just to answer your question on speedo calibration,these 22" hre with those tyres ride on the same rolling diameter as the oem 17,18 and 19" wheels.Therefore ,there is no difference.
Also ,in relation with the oem wheels,the Hres will stick out an extra 11mm at the front and 3mm on the rear,perfectly acceptable and will look great if you get the fender flares.
The Hres will also be farther away from your suspension,which is even better.
So,they are perfect for any X5,and a great inviting price,I just wish I wasnt on the other side of the pond:(
Regarding the scuff mark on one of the wheels,since they are polished wheels,you wouldnt even need to paint them...just sand and polish,wax.

///Bruce 02-02-2010 06:59 PM

Okay... $2000, my current rims and a promissory note for my next male child.... Deal?

Why is it better that the wheels stick out further from the suspension? I wanna know b/c i want to space out the wheels on my 3 series and was wondering if it was bad for the suspension.
