Mines Black Nappa and they match pretty close. I have been in a couple with black Daktoa and it looks pretty close. You have to remember you are matching 4-6 year old leather up with leather that is less than 1 year old. So, there will be some fading differences.

Yep, as long as your stock headrests are motorized and they fit 16mm headrest posts it is pretty much plug and play for you.

They are posted here, Bimmerforums, and a local BMWCCA vBB to me.

They wouldn't be movable headrests. Do you know if you have 14mm or 16mm posts? What X5 do you have? Probably not, because I think non-powered headrests are only 14mm posts and these are 16mm.

You would have to have non-adjustable headrests and also shave down the posts for them to fit most likely. You would still come out cheaper than buying new.....

This kit fits

4.8 E53 X5's and 7 Series Vehicles ONLY!!!!! 16MM HEADREST POSTS!

You can always put cream colored security covers on them and they'll look great. The kids probably won't care btw!

I have to agree. That 2-tone color would look good! You could always DYE the leather like Tom did with his door panels! With headrests and the color kit you would still come out cheaper!

Hi Jeff

Do you still have these? If so, you mentioned that you need to have the power head rests.... I just purchased the 4.4 with SP, CP, PP. If I need to ask the past owner, what would I need to ask?

Thanks,

Mike

acedeucy 04-19-2010 09:23 AM

It is a P16 Power Headrest that fits into 4.8 E53 X5's and 4.4 E53 X5's with Comfort seat package.
