WTB: Style #87 Rims Only
 

Hi everyone;

I currently own a 2006 e53 X5 4.8is and have the hots for the five spoke style rim #87.

I can either work a deal to pay cash or I would really prefer to trade (possibly with cash) a beautiful set of the standard 7 spoke rims thatcome stock with the 4.8is. They are truly FLAWLESS! If we get that far along, pics are available upon request.

I do not want knock-offs. I can buy those right now for a reasonable price; but I don't want the additional rotating mass that goes along with a heavier rim.

I owned a lemon 2002 X5 4.6is a few years ago, wound up selling it back to the dealership for my 03 M3C (yes, that's right!). But for the six weeks I owned her, I really fell in love with the 20" 5 spoke rims.

I will assume you are in California. Correct? Are the rims chromed? I don't want chromed. As far as distance, I can find a shop that can put my SAV up on a rack for a week. During this time, I could take off my rims and expedite the shipment of mine to you. Upon receipt, you could have yours swapped and return yours to me in the same boxes.

My rims are in truly great condition on both the outside and the inside of the rims. There is no curb rash of any kind. Right after I bought the X5, I had three of four rims resurfaced, again on both the inside and the outside.

I would be the one with the loss of transportation for the week. Not you. So, what I need from you is your impression of the condition of your rims.

If you're serious, let me know. And, if this goes any further, I'll take close-up pics of each rim.

Yeah Style 187's are much better looking than those... I have them on my 4.4...
