The cost to have it here in North America is above that. We have them in stock and it can be shipped in the same day or the next. We test them before we ship and also we make sure the maps are loaded and complete.

any news on whether the manufacturer is planning to update their software in the near future? It seems like there are a couple of bugs that need to be worked out from the other thread.

So far Hualingan is pretty much bug free or nothing major. To improve the product... it's always the case.

Your website offers the option to purchase a DSP kit and an external bluetooth microphone but it doesn't give any details on them.

What is included in the DSP kit?

Do you have a picture or model number of microphone? How is it powered?

I will update the site with pictures. The mic is a Parrot mic and it is powered by the system. If you didn't get the Hualingan unit from us then you don't have the mic input on your system. The BT quality is much better than the incorporated one if you are willing to spend an extra 15 minutes for the mic install. You have the option for either incorporated or external mic when you purchase the unit.
The DSP kit is a plug and play harness, no need to splice wires and an extension for MID, plug and play as well.
Please check this thread for more details.

I did find a picture of the mic on another forum. Still waiting on those DSP kit pictures. Have you considered selling the kit separately? It is a great buy for any aftermarket install with the DSP system. I ask that question because I am still on the fence as to which nav radio I want to put in the dash.

Sorry, it took a while to get the more parts for the DSP kit. I hope I will have the pictures up tonight or tomorrow the latest. Hualingan is designed for X5 and it has a bigger screen. Both run on windows CE. Unless you like the smaller screen I don't see why you would go with the other one. Both are very comparable and there are no better features or less bugs on one than the other. It's up to you for, I suggest you buy the one you think looks better on your car.

Is the phonebook from Nokia N8 transfered on the screen of the unit?

Unfortunately it's quite impossible for me to test all the phones but I know that some of them do not upload all the phone book records. There is no list of the phones supported. All the phones can do phone calls though. If I find somebody that used that phone I will let you know.

OEM NAV/DSP

Most of the threads are on non DSP or units without NAV. I have NAV and DSP. What do you need to install this unit with that setup. I have a Haulingan radio and am ready to put in a 4 channel amp and new sub with amp. I hate the current sound with DSP, I even swapped the all the interior speakers out with new Alpine components and still sounds like shit. I think DSP is for "Disapointing Sound Performance".
