OEM 2000-03 Factory Xenon Units with CCFL Angel Eyes Installed

2 Attachment(s)
So I replaced my xenon factory units with aftermarket units. These are the units pictured in my avatar. I made an attempt to resurface the lenses but they still look the same to me just smoother. Anyway PM me any reasonable offers

Ldiggs910 01-13-2012 02:42 PM

Oh I did the install myself and I need had any leakage or fogging problems with these units after installation

Tymatk 01-16-2012 11:03 PM

Is it possible to adjust the lens so they can work in right hand drive countries?

Ldiggs910 01-16-2012 11:16 PM

*looking around the room* Anyone know the answer? Sorry Tymatk but I dont know the answer to your question.

Id guess no since they are factory and made for a US consumption vehicle.

Tymatk 01-16-2012 11:51 PM

PM you but your inbox is full. What's the chance if your local bmw dealer will have an answer?

Ldiggs910 01-18-2012 02:55 PM

You'd sooner get a more accurate answer here. Anybody know the answer to his question?

$?

Ldiggs910 01-27-2012 04:16 PM

PM me any reasonable offer. They are factory xenon units with functional CCFL angel eyes installed. There is some clouding of the lenses but I imagine this can be removed with the 3M headlight restoration kit.

The units never fog up or leak.

Xenons with Angel Eyes

Hello. Please give me a price for your headlights with Angel Eyes. Did they set off any codes when you installed the Angel Eye kit? Do they stay on or only turn on with the headlights? Also, do you have instructions for wiring them in? Thanks for your time. I'm in zip code 81147 if you want to factor in shipping. Thanks for your time. Saltflatsman

Ldiggs910 02-03-2012 11:54 PM

So I was totally clueless as to what to charge for these headlights. So I went on Ebay and recorded the buy it now price for all 37 single headlight units for sale for E53s. I added them all up and divided by 37 to get the average price of $345 per headlight. But to me thats waaaay to expensive to charge someone for used headlights that Im not using (they're sitting in my basement) even if they DO have angel eyes installed. That would be $345x2=$790!!

Im gonna say $500 for the set to the first person that wants them.

These will come with the ballasts but Id recommend buying new angel eye ballasts to start off fresh with. The ballasts may require some splicing as the plug in connectors on the angel eyes fused together somewhat and had to be broken apart for disassembly.

I can provide new stealth blue bulbs that show as silver when theyre not illuminated and show as HID white when they are on.

PM Me offers

Ldiggs910 03-09-2012 12:27 PM

$400 anyone?

Ricky Bobby 12-18-2012 09:42 AM

looks good diggs, i'm just not a fan of the exposed turn signal bulb, looks like something is missing to me. i have the sport package and just wanted to remove the outer amber section and keep the clear cover over the rest of the turn signal..

GLWS man!

Mehler91 01-13-2013 10:49 AM

Mehler91 01-13-2013 10:49 AM

don't know if they will even fit a 2006

Ldiggs910 01-13-2013 11:35 AM

Nah they wouldn't fit a 2006, the headlight assemblies are different. Sorry :(

You could swap the shield in the projector, but more likely would have to swap in RHD projectors.

Thanks for always thinking of me Tam!

One of our local members (don't want to give it away as he's not sure if he is selling yet) texted me that his X might get sold, he told me the skid plate is mine if he sells it. Just got my trim set, then to do my headlight retrofit with LED AE, and once that is done my X is complete unless I am lucky enough to get the skid plate :D

tmv 02-25-2014 09:49 AM

^Not complete. You forgot the running board :nanana:

LOL. Probably $700 I'll never get the balls to cough up for that mod, if I get a big bonus this year and all house things are taken care of, maybe though

Ldiggs910 02-27-2014 07:35 PM

Thanks guys!

Ldiggs910 06-30-2014 10:15 PM

hmm does anybody want these? For a project perhaps? They are sitting in my basement

Ricky Bobby 07-01-2014 09:56 AM

Diggs how bad do you want to move them? And do you have the turn signal piece that you removed or no?

One of my local buddies was going to swap his mom's 2002 headlights with me since mine aren't bakeable, and I was going to do a retrofit and put LED angel eyes in them. If yours are cheap enough I would just use them as a spare set to work on, but I want to keep a portion of the turn signal reflector not just leave it completely bare, if you still have it I might be interested in the set.

Ldiggs910 07-01-2014 09:16 PM

Id accept any reasonable offer as i have no use for them anymore. I sold the X in November.
