FS: E53 2000-2006 OEM Subwoofer- SOLD

I tried to install this but I couldn't locate the subwoofer plug in my trunk space. Both woofer's are in good working condition. I believe it is plug and play if you have the plug (someone correct me if I am wrong). No splicing or wiring needed.
$80 buyer pays for shipping, I will get you a quote if you provide your zip.

I don't have DSP, so is there a way to get this to work on a non-dps system? do I need an AMP as well? sorry I don't know much about stereo systems, but I do want better bass in my x5.

I don't have DSP either but I have heard that our X's come pre-wired to accept the stock SUB. I did not find this wire in my trunk space therefore this is why I am selling it.

Can someone with knowledge of this please chime in.

So I guess I would need to find a stock amp before I can actually use the sub first..haha

My mistake... I meant stock Subwoofer.

no, actually you are correct and I kind of guessed it too. Our Non-DSP cars don't come with amp, so in order for me to use the sub-woofer I would need an amp. I don't think there is a way for me to just plug in the sub and have it working.

Mine came with an AMP. It is located in the left rear. It might not be powerful enough or might not have the channel to power the OEM sub.

hm, guess I'll do a bit more research before I decide if this will work for me or not haha

the amp in the back on the left in fact does have sub outputs. That's how I hooked up my aftermarket amp and subs. I know when I had everything ripped apart there were at least 3 plugs with alot of wire tied up on the left side. Maybe enough to stretch to the factory location. Not sure as I didnt try.

I found this blue plug on the right side compartment, but not sure if that's the harness. It says AMP 3-963-247-2 on it. (It's either a 6 or a 5, not too sure) I tried looking up that part number (or w/e that number is and I came back with nothing).
