e70 is in the garage, time to move the 4.8iS

Got an e70 35d parked in the garage, triple black with every available option, including rear video. It is a very different car from the e53 but we hope to use less fuel and have somewhat less maintenance. Unfortunately it is time to move out one vehicle and I decided to keep my 4.4i for commuting. The 4.8iS is in the for sale section.

I thougt I was never going to sell the 4.8iS when I got it and I have spared no expense on the maintenance. The fuel pump was changed 9k miles ago at the dealer. Last winter I replaced the front wheel bearings, the tension strut bushings and knuckles and the CV boots.

Last June I put a new battery in and last month the EHC was replaced with a new one and calibrated at the dealer. Anyone who is interested please shoot me a PM.

Funny how that works out, isn't it? We have an e46 ZHP that we swear we'll keep forever.... we'll see.

...And then a window regulator breaks and the window is stuck open. That will be the straw that breaks the camels back. Then you feel bad. You fix it.. and then the door carrier breaks... lol Viscous cycle.

The e70 is absolutely a dream to drive and has a lot of nice features. It is big spacious and great comfort features.

BUT, it is nothing like the e53 and I am certainly keeping one of my e53s to commute.
