get some other shop to install the engine for you, charging $4000 to install an engine is ludacris!

Is that for a new or used block? $4900 for a new/remanufactured longblock is a pretty good price. Buy the engine from the dealer and have someone else install it.

Car is towed from dealer to another shop for a swap,they've done some researches and there's a "candidate" with 80.000km for 4,500 which comes with 90 days warranty.
