WTB: E53 Dinan parts

Just picked up an '06 4.8is and would like to add some dinan parts, cold air intake, pedals etc. Anyone have some parts they want to get rid of?

Thanks,

Antony

Nada eh?

Do you think most people would pay 5-10x true markt value for something w/ the $$Dinan$$ name on it...just to "get rid" of it? If you had a 4.4, I would suggest the pre-VANOS M62 intake manifold and MAF like I have, but your 4.8 is quite different. Good luck w/ finding parts. It might be a stretch, but try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and call any and all junkyards w/ 4.8's and ask they to physically go outside and see if anything has $$Dinan$$ written on it.

Cheap $$Dinan$$ parts (an oxymoron in itself) are gonna be hard enough to find used for most BMW's, especially for X5, or even for an X5 w/ the 4.8. There is an intake on ebay for $300, otherwise maybe try Firefox and use crazedlist.org : search craigslist like a madman. Otherwise if you're insistant on using them for your mods, just go directly to their website.

Woah! Thanks m5james.

Is there much difference between the AFE and Dinan cold intake?

I've only seen an aFe intake on the 3.0, and the filter was still in the engine bay. Unless either brand gets the filter out of the engine bay and down behind the bumper/foglight, I'd go w/ whoever is cheaper. Intakes aren't anything special, just a tube and filter.
