FS: 2006 Tiag/Black X5 4.8iS

Well after much deliberation I've officially decided to list the car for sale. Those of you who know me know how my cars are up kept.

First and foremost this list price is an invitation to REASONABLE offers. I know what these cars book for I also know you can't find one like this with this mileage and in this condition. I am motivated to sell but I don't HAVE to. Feel free to ask any questions and make offers. I can show the car by appointment anytime. I bought this 4.8iS in NC with 59,000 miles. The car came from someone who had clearly cared for it but must have traded in for something new. I chose this one out of 3 others I was looking at because of its location and mileage. Since its purchase the car has been nothing but great. I do not NEED to sell this but would like to move it in preparation for home ownership. This is likely the most sorted 4.8iS and likely e53 in general currently on the market. I have never skipped a beat with any sort of service or repair and did nothing but tasteful and OEM plus modifications.

The wheels came in a few pounds lighter per a corner over stock. I went a .5 inch wider and run stock tire sizes. The car’s height can be adjusted and if one would really desire it could be converted back to air suspension (I no longer have the stock components). I didn’t cut or destroy anything when replacing my shocks so really you would just need four shocks and compressor as well as some coding to get it going again. The suspension was replaced because I despise the way it rides. This car has FULLY adjustable dampening and is really dialed in to handle well. You wouldn’t believe how much fun it is to drive.

Service history, to the best I kept up with it in a word document, is listed below. I am sure I’m missing quite a bit. Oil was changed with full synthetic every 4 to 4500 miles, detailed every three months, and hand washed weekly.

There is a lien on the car. I am notifying my bank the car is for sale so they should have the title in hand at their DC office. It would take a few business days to clear the lien and hand over the title.

This makes me sad. But home ownership is much more important. GL Olek I hope you find the right home for the X and the right home for you guys!

Thanks!

You and me both because its not exactly a buyers market where I am but the time has come I'd like to liquidate and reset. Sold my URS6 a few months ago and now I'm going to replace this with a Sedan. I'll definitely miss it but after two 4.8's I think I'm ready for change too.

Definitely one of the nicer X's here. Good luck with the sale and your future endeavors.

Looks beautiful Olek! Love your mods and how clean you keep it.

I know those interior shots were from last summer so it probably doesn't apply, but I see the arrows on the dashboard that somebody may have questions about?

Best of luck with sale-very tempting for me since I sold my E53 in the fall...hmmm...

Honestly I thought the lines were just there when you toggle through the cluster but maybe I'm mistaken. Never even noticed those.

I'd love to see it go to a good home. This one just needs the headlights you had and running boards to be complete as far as things I wanted to do are concerned (the front skid plate too if I ever stumbled across a used one). I will get current interior pictures as soon as I can get it washed post snow.

Well, it's a 4.8is. The only real question is whether or not it has a load floor or comfort seats. Both of which are answered in the pics.

Correct. The seats were retrofitted in this case so the vin reads comfort and the load floor is a must (especially when your girl drives the truck and is 5'2). Nav was also retrofitted with something better

Thanks Prop
