Exclamation **No longer FS ** : AFE Intake (4.4/4.8)
For sale is an unused, never installed AFE Intake for
the 4.4 or the 4.8 versions of the X5. I purchased
this item for my 4.6is, only to find out that the Intake
is not compatible. EVOSPORT lists them at $349 plus
shipping.


I found a way to install this and have
decided to do just that.

It should work OK with the 4.6. You jus need that little filter.

that's what i thought. i sent away for the filter, but
i still believe that there is a part that is exclusive to
the 4.6is. check out my other thread here.

I'll have to look at my intake sometime. I don't remember a wire, just that tube the pre-2004 V8's seem to have. The guys at aFe were only concerned with the tube when the took my airbox out.

get this to work, i'll keep the Intake.
