Thanks.
I know you do if you have the digital DSP (2000 - 2002), but I'm not 100% sure if you do or not for the analog DSP (2003 and newer)

You can not use the ipod directly (ipod controls) while it is being played through icelink (you use the steering wheel controls). So I had it installed to the storage area under the armrest. It works great...easy to access but out of sight. The problem with leaving it visible is that you have to remove it when leaving your car so someone doesn't break your window and steal it. IMO that is the best place to install for what it's worth.

Ice>Link Questions

I tried to call Tom and also left him a email on Saturday. I have not heard back from him. I just want to make sure I get in on the GB. I have a few questions, for him about the ice> link, as I do not know much about them.

My first question is what else do I need to hook it up to my 2001 X5 4.4, with Nav and DSP? and how much are those parts?

Second Question Will that set up work on my 2003 Z4 3.0 with DSP? , If not what else do I need to make it work for this one.

We hardly every drive both cars at the same time and am thinking about just switching them between the 2 of them, as I am just going to plug them into the trunk and leave them there. I might just leave it in the Z4 as the X5 has a CD player and the Z4 does not. But want to make sure I can switch it if that is not a big deal. I hope that Tom gets ahold of me today so I can get in on this GB. Thanks Jack

I would like in the GB as well....

I also am waiting for a return phone call from Tom at Dension, as I left him a v-mail over the weekend.

I have some specific questions related to intergrating Bluetooth, Stealth One and the ice>link.

Great forum that I just discovered!!

I am interested. However, I need the answer to my previous question. Hopefully Dension will extend the deadline for those who have asked questions.

Thanks.

The DSP Application will be $249, -$20 off retail as the other kits.

It's the alignment of the 30G photo - the dock connector is 1/10" off-center than all other iPods. You can use the docking cable instead if you have this iPod.
