2001 Titanium 3.0 X5

Ok the time is here that i am selling my beloved X5. I got a hell of a deal on it but i'm looking at other upcoming projects so this will have to go. It was originally a lease car in Omaha, NE. It was then purchased and made its way into MN as a CPO car. The CPO ran out in Jan/Feb of '07. Every owner appears to have treated this X as one of the family because it is immaculate. It is in excellent condition both inside and out. There has been no major issues with it since i bought it aside for all 4 wheel bearings were replaced, covered under the CPO. Clean carfax which i can provide.

Now for the specifics-

Titanium Silver
~103,000 miles
3.0 liter AWD
Grey Leather
Heated Steering Wheel
Automatic Dimming Mirrors
Activity Package
-heated front seats
-headlamp washer system
-rain sensors
-ski bag
Climate Package
-rear passenger temperature controls
-automatic air conditioning
-roller sun blinds for rear doors
-privacy glass
Premium Package
-power glass moonroof
-power front seats
-light wood trim
-leather upholstery
Lumbar Support
Xenon Headlamps
In-dash Single CD Player
Cargo Cover
All-Season Cargo Mat
New All Weather Floor Mats
Original List price- $47,020.00

Now for the real talking-

Price is $16,000 /bo, and there will be a $500 finders fee if you find anyone who purchases it, and i can deliver the car to your door anywhere in the 48 (via driving, not shipping). Thanks for looking.

Thank you sir. I tried to find a price that i believe to be fair, locally these are selling for $19k still with similar mileage. NADA lists it at $19.4 for clean retail and Edmunds has it at $18k so i figured around $17k wasn't unreasonable. However money talks so if i got a quick offer i might go less.

Right..I completely agree with you..NADA and Kelly is a good place to start. And in a good market those are good prices. But "Market Value" is completely different then what NADA and Kelly go by. Thats what I was referencing when I said the current market value. The actual market value can fluctuate from month to month and often does. And naturally, even during times when the economy isn't struggling, the market value of the car is usually always less then what NADA and Kelly provide. For instance, during the Gas prices spike last year or the year before I can't remember, the market value for SUV's changed dramatically. Meaning their value went down. They didn't recover their value until gas prices returned to somewhat reasonable levels, obviously because of fuel efficiency (sp). And I wouldn't call that a recovery either. Unfortunately market value isn't really printed anywhere (except for used car dealer blackbooks, which also change from month to month but there's no section saying "market value" obviously, and other various car dealer references) Some people are aware of this and some are not. Unfortunately our economy is headed for rough waters in the very near future and has already started to head that way. I'm sure you are more then capable though, and I wish all the best. Hopefully you'll get a good offer soon. From the pics, the car looks like its in excellent shape.
