intrax suspension module***SOLD***

So i know many of you have wanted this part and now the time has come due to me returning my car(end of lease) and slowly parting out my car.

So here is the Intrax module for the 2005 4.8is(not sure and dont buy it if your not sure, but this module could work on previous year x5's that have air suspension)

The module has worked from the day that i bought it, and has never let me down. When i wanted the car lowered i would lower the car and it would stay in that position... if i wanted the car raised due to certain reasons i could have the car raised and it would stay in that position.(above 25mph)

There are three options on the module itself

1)Acts as its not installed
2) Speed is increased to 45mph means that you can drive on the lowest or highest setting up to 45mph, before it returns back to middle/normal height.
3) Completely manual, it will stay in whatever height you want it, and thats what i had mine set on the whole time it was in my car.

The instructions to install this module is really easy, you have to first remove the glovebox compartment and this is where the suspension connector is hidden..

and after that if you know how to splice and tap some wires (4wires total) your good to go.

Found the instructions on this site; its really straight forward, just follow each step as is, and if you know how to splice, crimp, and tap into wires you should have no problem. and if you take it to a tech he should have this installed for you, in not more then an hour, and a half.

SO JUST PM ME IF YOUR INTERESTED. pics below

Here Im just showing that it was installed in my car real nicely with all neat electric connections, and that there are no damages to the module front or back.

And if you see in my pics, and once you recieve the module yourself and install it. You will see that behind the glovebox, there are little plastic beige compartments almost as if its meant to put aftermarket modules like this one to just sit in

and this is where mine sat in the whole time, so its not like it was flying around/bouncing the whole time.

**INTRAX AIR SUSPENSION MODULE FOR SALE** 2005 4.8IS

So finally the Intrax Air Suspension Module part#(INT-20-6-103) is up for sale. I had it on my 05 4.8is and loved it!

I loved how the suspension would stay in one place whether i wanted it in the lowest setting, or the highest setting.

As the 4.8is owners know, the car goes back to the middle air suspension settting after 25mph. With this module you can over-ride that and drive in any setting, the lowest or highest setting.

The module itself has 3settings you can choose;
1)acts as if its not there
2) Speed is raised to 45mph... so you can drive in the low or high setting up to 45mph
3) complete control----you choose the height and it stays in that setting

The install is real straight-forward and easy. All you have to do is remove the glovebox and if you know how to tap into and splice wires then this install will be a piece of cake.

I will have pics of the module up in a couple of hours.. but the module is in perfect condition with no scratches, dings, no damage at all. The module can actually sit in these little slots behind the glovebox which makes it impossible to slide around and move.

PM me if interested

Don't be a stranger just because you're X-less! Be sure to post pictures of your new ride in the "Other BMWs" forum when you get it and as you mod it!
