Xm radio and adaptor

Will this work with a 2001 X5 with DSP? I already have an XM radio and want somethign that integrates with the BMW system. Plz let me know

I tried the blitzsafe with an XM direct and it did not work with the NAV. I have an '05 for what its worth.

No one seems to know why, but it is an absolute fact that the Blitzsafe/Terk XMDirect unit will NOT work on a BMW with Nav. Makes me glad I didn't bother with the Nav on mine, since I like the XM so much!

I'm using the XM Commander mounted in the ashtray connected to the AUX input in the glovebox.
