JUst for reference, the Mk3 should work just fine with either the 16:9 or 4:3 screen. Good luck with the sale!

BTW< Is it possible to buy NEW data map disks on CD?(for MKIII)?
All I see for sale is 2002 or so. Surely navteq or bmw bothered to keep burning the data now on DVDs on to CDs for older models??

V32 software does not "help" as this Mk3 is upgraded to its final version 3-1/63 and, YES, you can get new CD maps from Navteq

I've recently had an inquiry from someone who refuses PM messages thru this website. since his emails repeat requests for my lowest price and my info, this has led me to believe it's some sort of form letter. He also has ignored my request for shipping info and my offer to ship it to him prior to payment. throw in he says he's now in the UK, but has relatives in Canada (still no names or addresses), I believe him to be some kind of reseller. thank you, but no thank you.

My offer is for a BMW owner who would like to upgrade or replace his/her nav unit without the typical high cost. At half the price of a MK3 nav unit from Bimmernav.com, I'm sure not offering it out of greed. But given this recent experience, I'd rather sell to someone here in the USA
