DINAN Camber Plates E53 X5
New in Box -Brand new DINAN camber plates for the E53 X5. Will fit all models of X5 from 1999-2006 (3.0, 4.4, 4.6) It will NOT fit the 4.8is.
$175.00 shipped From dinans website: Dinan Camber Plates provide a remarkable reduction of understeer and more immediate turn-in from the X5 by inducing more negative camber on the front wheels. The additional negative camber provides more grip in the turns reducing the vehicle's tendency to plow the front end for those who drive a bit more aggressively. A quick look at your front tires will tell the story. If you are noticing significant outside edge front tire wear, perhaps even a bit of ''cupping'', you are definitely a candidate for the Camber Plates. Not only will the extra camber improve the X5's handling, but you'll also likely notice more even tire wear, assuming you continue to corner aggressively. The Camber Plates are definitely the biggest bang for the buck when it comes to improving the handling of your X5

According to the Dinan website the camber plates aren't compatible with the 4.8is. Do the Dinan instructions say different?

You are correct. It will NOT fit the 4.8is. I have edited the post accordingly. Nice catch!

PN: D160-0530 will fit the 4.6is. So, yes they should fit.
Dinan lists the same part number for the 3.0i, 4.4i, and the 4.6is.
