Off the market
Sold my Style 58s but kept the Dunlop M2 winter tires 265/55/18. They have about 4-4.5 mm left on them. I will sell the Dunlops with my 74s. Asking $650 for the package or $400 w/o tires. Buyer pays shipping.
I will post some pictures once I have the M2s mounted on the style 74 wheels. Here are a couple of pictures what they look like and on the car. Last edited by TriX5; 12-05-2010 at 05:46 PM. Reason: Add picture |

Two requests..
Could you take a photo with a coin (ie, a penny) in the center of the tread so I can get a better feel for how much "meat" is left..? (1 winter, 2..more?) Where in MD are you located, and might you consider a meet part way (I'm in Central)..? Thanks ed |

They should fit. The rears will look narrow as they offset is 48mm.

I measured the lowest point I could find which 4/32. They are fairly evenly worn as I switch them front to back frequently.

I guess your right.. But you would if you wanted to know the actual useable tread remaining. Most people do not know that a tire is deemed unuseable and dangerous at 2/32 (at the wear bar).

It is up to the buyer to remember that 2/32 is the legal limit 4/32 is the minimum safe tread for wet roads 6/32 is the minimum safe tread for winter tires in snowy weather |
