So I have decided to Sell the X

Well after much debate its just got to go. My driving needs have changed and the gas is just killing me. I hope I don't reget this as I have spent a ton of money modding and just maintaining this thing.

Anyway this forum has been a great help and hope I was able to provide help to others.

You are going to think I am nuts but looking at a mazda speed6 or speed3. Good on gas when I need it to be and fast when I need it as well.

That's funny because we just bought an X5 to replace our Mazdaspeed3. The MS3 has been GREAT to us but I needed something to tow the trailer. We bought it new in 07 and have all records and original window sticker. 60k miles and asking price of $14,500 includes 3 sets of wheels (stock 18", RX-8 and 16" Borbets w/Blizzaks). It's a Grand Touring model with the HIDs, leather bolsters and Bose audio. We will miss it! If you're interested in ours, shoot me a PM.

Edit: Just noticed your location. I suppose you wouldn't need the winter tires haha. I would do $13,800 including the stock wheels and RX-8 wheels.

This summer I bought my wife a clean low mileage 2005 Mazda6 wagon, we love it! Hey you never did answer my question about where you got those tail lights on your X5.

HR,

Sad to see you go man! You are an excellent fellow mod head! Your X is exquisite, such a beauty! I feel your pain in letting her go, especially after making her so unique! Good luck with whatever you get into. Make sure she goes to an owner that will appreciate her like you do!....you are right....it all becomes a blur after a while!

Rich

Mazda just are made the way they used to be when your 13B came out While shopping for SUV's, I looked at those CX's for a bit as well, cool little turbo'ed engines. Good luck with your searching man, keep us posted!

I used to have a Mazdaspeed6, car is not too bad. I sold it a year ago, really didnt use it much. Car had about 7k on it in 2 years, if you need some parts (oil filters, air filter etc., wheels) still have them in my garage. Gas milage wasnt amazing but it was quick. I know the 4.6 is pretty bad on gas, my brother had one. Good luck.

I don't think you are nuts. Those are good cars. I am not a huge fan of the smiley face front grill on the 3, but it is always ranked among the best small cars as far as performance is concerned. Both will be better on gas than the X. I had a Mazda 6 as a rental and I thought it was a pretty good car.
