Brake calipers were completely cleaned, honed, powder coated silver and rebuilt with original BMW seal kit. Original BMW brakes pads, rotors have less than 500 miles on them. Will fit all E53 X5's from 4/2000 to End of production without modifications. Vehicles produced before 4/2000 will need modifications to the backing plate to fit the brake caliper brackets.
A good reason to buy these? 2000-2006 3.0i, 4.4i front brakes are known to "warp" or create excessive rotor runout. The reason has not been officially documented however, I believe that the cause is due to the weight of the vehicle.
Note: does not include brake pad sensor, or caliper/bolts these should be the same as the ones on your vehicle. Your vehicle full size 17" spare will not fit on the front wheels. Will need to source 19" spare tire from 4.6is/4.8is. Can also put 18" full size spare with different ratio sidewall to fit in spare wheel well.
