FOR SALE: 2006 X5 4.8is Lemans Blue (NJ)

Up for sale is my 2006 BMW X5 4.8is with less than 79k miles, it's in excellent physical and mechanical condition. It has Lemans Blue paint, with black Nappa leather interior and sport seats. 20" alloy wheels, and four corner air suspension, which has been electronically lowered 1.5" up front and .75" in the rear to improve handling, and give a much more aggressive stance. All of the photos but the last were taken prior to lowering. The last photo is also on the lowest setting, which is about an inch lower than normal driving height. I have also installed paddle shifters on the stock sport steering wheel, which makes the 6-speed automatic transmission much more fun to drive. Features include adaptive xenon headlights, park-distance control (PDC), Bluetooth phone connection with voice recognition dialing and commands. Power heated seats front and rear, power central locks, power windows, power folding mirrors, panoramic sunroof, Hi-Fi Professional DSP audio system with 6-disc changer, manual rear sunshades, exterior gloss shadowline trim, anthracite headliner, and alarm system.

I have all maintenance documentation since purchasing the vehicle in 2011, although there wasn't much other than oil changes. I have only put 16k miles on it. Current maintenance includes new front outer CV boots, new front control arms and ball joints, new vacuum pump gaskets, and new rear pads and rotors. BMW Synthetic Oil used at 6k intervals. I have 3 years remaining on the wheel and tire warranty which is transferable for a $50 fee.

My reason for selling is simple. I have another child on the way, and need to downgrade to something with lower monthly payments. Kids are expensive. It wasn't an easy decision to make, but it has to be done.

You will see one accident report on the Carfax from a low-speed collision in Oct 2012. A woman pulled out in front of my wife in the rain without looking and our X5's front bumper hit the woman's fender. There was no structural damage, only cosmetic. The hood and bumper were replaced, as well as the headlights due to broken tabs and scratches. I have photos of the damage as well as full documentation listing parts repaired and replaced. Only genuine BMW parts were used.

Gonna be sad to see it go man! Good price considering the low miles and care you put into her, as well as it being basically unmolested and up to date on maintenance!

Thanks, me too! It really has been a great vehicle. The main thing I loved about this truck was that I didn't really have to mod it that much for it to be bad-ass. After Pat lowered it at Bimmerfest it was like a new car to me, but I just can't keep it with my current situation. The next owner can put spacers in the rear and call it a day.

I've had it listed at various prices starting at a wishful $24k down to where it is now, so I think $19k is a very fair price. It's sad to see such a great truck going for so little, but that's just where the market is at I guess.
