Navigation System

I am in the process of upgrading an X5 w/o nav to navigation. I need to purchase the MK4, and the 16:9 complete monitor.

Be sure to review this article to fully understand what you are in for. Several members here have successfully done this, including Joe Puma and King (Arvi), but it's not a trivial task

Thanks UCrewX5...I have done alot of research on this task. And I have found alot of issues on the X5 from 2000-2006. After I have completed this task I shall write a simplified method of completing this task for the average person.( Not having alot of electrical experience) Being an electrical engineer I realize this task is not as elementary for everyone as it is to me. If I could get straight answers from BMW this would help, but I finally realize that alot of BMW techs simply just don't know. I will keep you posted ..THIS SITE ROCKS
