Mine was submerged due to a leak and although I hate the system I'm not ready to rip into the entire setup which would be necessary if I go to an aftermarket system.
As some of you know the factory Nokia speakers used for the DSP option don't have crossovers because all the crossover points are built into the DSP system. That means I'd need to replace the head unit, amp and speakers if I go with anything other than the factory amp.
I know many upgraded their systems because the DSP system stinks big time. Most of my drive time is spent listening to AM talking heads so I'm not missing much. Of course I might listen to more music if the system did not sound so bad.
I get my music fix on my home HiFi system.
