Retractable load floor. An optional floor that rolls in and out of the back of the X5. If you have an X5 I believe it is mentioned (and maybe shown) in the later model manuals.

It is used for easy loading so that you do not have to reach over the mini-tailgate. It slides out, you load it, and then it slides back in.
Does anyone know of any cargo mats that are made specifically for the load floor?
