I was looking to spend between $100 and $150 depending on the age.

I have a 2002 x5 (I am assuming the cd changer is a 2002 but i will check the info on it tomorrow).

I have not installed it yet, looks like the only tricky part is running a wire from the truck to the center console

I remember re-wiring by brother's 300zx twin turbo. I was changing the entire audio system. It was the hardest preject I have done to a car. 7 hours in the summer heat!! I had to take out all the seats and carpeting. Follow wires and replace the factory BOSE stuff. Never again.

Sure is, I believe I only need two connections. I have the base radio. Any radio programing required? or does it recognize it rite away?
